It settles payments. It is a ledger. That part is well understood. But the properties that make a blockchain good at money — deterministic state, verifiable history, no owner who can change the rules — are not properties of money. They are properties of a machine.
Blockchain technology can be used for so much more than cryptocurrencies and memecoins.
So we ask: what else?
Can a blockchain hold storage? Can it run computation? Can it carry AI that is grounded in checkable state rather than generated from a model's priors? Can quantum computation run over it?
We think the answer is yes. Blockchain can be so much more.
The future is not a developer evaluating a dashboard. Not a company signing an annual contract.
It is an agent, acting on its own authority, paying for what it uses out of a wallet it controls. Agentic commerce.
That single assumption decides most of our design. An agent does not fill in a signup form, does not wait to be issued an API key, does not wait for a sales call, and has no interest in a pricing page or vibes.
An agent needs service endpoints it can reach, millisecond transactions, and a bill it can settle itself.

Web1 was a library. Someone published and everyone else read. You could look, but you could not really take part.
Web2 gave everyone a voice, and then kept the conversation. Photos, messages and clicks flowed into server farms nobody outside could see, owned by companies most users would never deal with directly. The service was free because the user was the product.
Web3 set out to correct that by decentralizing ownership, and it was right about the problem. But the experience arrived wrapped in gas fees, seed phrases and speculation, and the center of gravity moved from building things to trading them.
Meanwhile AI grew up somewhere else entirely — on larger server farms, under the same ownership, generating rather than verifying. The two never merged. Storage sat with the servers, tokens with the chains, intelligence with the models. Adjacent, not connected.
Web4 is what it looks like when sovereignty is decentralized, AI is deterministic, and blockchain is more than a casino.
